Background Information
Hazel holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of the Visayas, and Master’s Degree in Learning and Teaching from De La Salle University. Furthermore, Hazel received her Alaska History and Multi-Cultural Education Certification from Alaska Pacific University, USA.

Hazel has 15 years experience in providing speech and language services, including working as a Speech and Language Pathologist at Fairbanks North Star Borough School District in Alaska, USA, for 3 years, and at Child Early Intervention Medical Center in the UAE for 3 years.

Hazel has a wide range of experience working with the pediatric population in both schools and clinical settings, and has provided services for children with receptive/expressive language delays, auditory processing disorders, articulation delays, phonological delays/disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language delays.

Hazel has also received training and has experience implementing Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and TEACCH® to facilitate effective and functional communication. Furthermore, she also provides speech and language workshops for families and professionals.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received less than 24 hr before the session are considered billable cancellations. For cancellations received more than 24 hr before the session, company will follow the rules stated in the contract.
